Ashen Peony

About this work

A full peony dominates the canvas in layered grey, white, and taupe petals, framed by dark leaves and broad vertical passages of gold leaf. The scale of the flower gives the composition a graceful presence without losing its restrained palette. It suits a hallway, dressing area, or formal reception wall. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
