Golden Ash

About this work

Soft grey and black fields are broken by a large textured mass of gold leaf and scattered metallic fragments. The contrast between dark paint and reflective gold gives the piece depth and gravity, making it well suited to a formal lounge, study, or reception wall. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
