Marble Gold Drift

About this work

A marbled grey-and-white form occupies one side of the canvas while sweeping bands and textured areas of gold leaf cross the pale ground. Fine linear details and scattered metallic marks add movement without disturbing the restrained palette. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
