Vertical washes of mauve, grey, charcoal, and soft cream create a layered atmospheric ground, broken by irregular islands of gold leaf. The metallic texture catches changing light while the muted palette keeps the work composed in a formal living room or spacious entrance. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher.
