Misty Grove

About this work

A grove of slender trees rises beneath dense crowns of gold, charcoal, slate blue, and soft grey foliage. Fine trunks and reflected shadows give the scene depth while keeping the palette quiet. Its wide format rests naturally above a large sofa or console in a refined reception room. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
