Quiet Tides

About this work

Long horizontal layers of white, grey, charcoal, and muted brown stretch across the canvas, broken by slim passages of gold leaf. The low horizon and softened brushwork create a calm, spacious mood. This piece works well above a wide sofa, sideboard, or bed in a neutral interior. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
