Scarlet Arc

About this work

Broad fields of white and soft grey are cut by sweeping black curves, vivid red passages, touches of turquoise, and small areas of gold leaf. The vertical movement gives the piece a confident presence in an entrance, reading corner, or contemporary sitting room. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
