Turquoise Veins

About this work

Pools of turquoise, deep blue, and pale aqua spread organically beneath dense raised passages of gold leaf. The contrast between fluid colour and metallic texture gives a dark wall depth and controlled drama. This piece is hand-painted in acrylic and oil with gold leaf on 100% cotton canvas, stretched over an internal wood stretcher. An external pine-wood frame is available as an optional add-on. - Material: 100% cotton canvas - Medium: acrylic, oil, and gold leaf - Finish: hand-painted - Frame: internal wood stretcher included; external pine-wood frame optional (add-on)
